Our story

Our beggining

Nagipe Viana Klem, the family’s patriarch, started his path with coffee in the mid-’50s. Initially with a property in a region known as “Pedra Dourada”. Nagipe Viana was always a business and innovative man. Always ahead of his time. He was already worried about environmental issues, even when it was not a relevant topic. Over the years, he was giving his knowledge to his children, and from 2010, when César, Sérgio, Moacir, and Cláudio took on the production. Nagipe Viana’s children knew how to ally the knowledge about coffee production, earned from their father, and improved it, bringing new technologies.

About our coffee

We produce organic specialty coffees. The combination of climatic conditions, altitude, rainfall, soils, extraordinary organic practices, coffee processing, and stabilization allows us to produce consistently amazing qualities. We produce Catuai vermelho, Catuai amarelho, mundo novo, caturra e Icatu. We produce Fully washed, semi-washed, natural coffees, carbonic semi macerations as well as other experimental processes. The altitude of the plantations ranges between 1000 and 1300 masl, the harvest occurs between June and September
