Who we are
Sampigehalla is owned and managed by the family who are ethnic to the region of Coorg, the largest coffee producing region of India with a legacy of coffee cultivation stretching over 150 years. Arabica and Robusta coffee is grown under primary shade of endemic evergreen, deciduous fruit and flowering trees complemented by a second tier of orange and dadap. Pepper Nigum vines grow on the trunks of larger trees. This verdant eco-system is home to a rich diversity of animals, birds, insects and butterflies in addition to bee colonies.
