Who we are
Balanoor estate is owned and managed by Ashok Kuriyan and his son, Rohan. Ashok has worked here from the age of 21 and is now 70 and still here on the farm, and his passion has been passed on to the entire team at Balanoor. Balanoor aims to grow sustainably and to continue to bring out new coffees with different flavors. Rohan dreams of continuing the family business, looking forward to a time when he will be able to work with his children on the farm, seeing them pushing boundaries and continuing the work handed down through the generations.

Balanoor has received a wide variety of awards in the Flavour of India competition for our Arabica and Robustas. We have also won the Illy competition in the past.
