Intro
The Union of Agricultural Cooperatives UCA SOPPEXCCA R.L. is an organization that emerged in 1997 as a corporation formed by 68 producers who contribute their crops to start the coffee export business. In 2002 SOPPEXCCA was established as a Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Limited Liability Services, called UCA SOPPEXCCA R.L. Currently UCA SOPPEXCCA R.L. is an organization made up of 16 associated cooperatives, which bring together 405 producers, of which 269 are men and 136 are women, located in the municipalities of Jinotega, El Cuá and Bocay.
About our coffee
UCA SOPPEXCCA R.L. is a Union of Agricultural Service Cooperatives, made up of 16 Cooperatives. The General Assembly is made up of 80 delegates who are democratically elected by the Cooperatives. In this instance the general decisions are taken and in this organizational structure that elects the members of the Administration Council, Vigilance Board, education committee, work commissions who are in charge of following up, monitoring and evaluating the agreements of the General Assembly of delegates and institutional work. Our organization works under an integral approach of actions for a sustainable coffee growing in human and environmental terms.
