UCA SOPPEXCCA RL works under a model of implementation of practices for the preservation and conservation of soils, water sources, forest protection and respecting biodiversity, among some actions that are implemented are: Seed selection Agroforestry systems Registration and control of the work on the farm. Conservation and reforestation of water sources Balanced fertilization Establishment of live and dead barriers Drainage works for honey water We have an organic fertilizer processing plant as part of our environmental strategy. Our coffee is sun-dried in order to reduce and save non-renewable energy.

Diversification
Based on the study of the climate behavior that is affecting the coffee-growing area, UCA SOPPEXCCA RL is promoting the establishment of cocoa under an agroforestry system that helps to reduce the impact and diversification of income sources that help the economic sustainability of the families of small producers associated with the organization. Family gardens are also being implemented with the production of vegetables and greens, which are marketed from the field to the consumer in the green market supported by Food Farmers.
Life on the farm
The Organization works on the integration of youth and children with a focus on inclusion and gender equity for which it has educational programs. We have a scholarship program for low-income youth for their university education which is useful in their community.
Social commitment
We are the first organization in the country to implement its gender policy, after 5 years it served as a model for the cooperative sector in the country, we have defined our policies for the protection of children and adolescents, CoC and safeguard policy that contains social responsibility.
Community engagements
Through its partners, it has a positive impact at the community level with environmental protection actions, significant reduction in the use of harmful agrochemicals, educational campaigns and actions that are defined in the development plan that is currently defined annually based on the resources available.
