The most commonly used ingredient in a cappuccino is espresso. Along with the rich, full-bodied flavor that comes from its dark roast, this particular coffee is very acidic and can leave your mouth feeling dry after drinking it. As an alternative to the bitterness of an espresso beverage, baristas tend to include extra amounts of steamed milk topping poured on top of the drink which can range anywhere from two pumps or more depending on how they prefer their drink prepared. Traditional frothed milk creamers are another way they prepare these drinks as well as adding chocolate syrup for some added sweets if desired!
I ordered one not too long ago at my local coffee shop myself for about €3.50 and €4.00 if you prefer with oat milk - I was surprised it!
