Hi Vasileia, the specialty coffee scene (as you seen around you), is growing a lot lately. If we want to summarize the term, we could say that the coffee graded as "specialty" is the highest grade available, scored 80+ points on a 100 points scale by the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association). But often, when we talk about specialty coffee, we talk about something that is of particularly high quality also for what concerns the whole supply chain, from farmers, to roasters, to the final coffee shops and consumers, So that's what you can expect to find when you enter in a specialty coffee shop: usually different kinds of beans, different brew methods, knowleadgeable baristas, probably a coffee menu... a true coffee experience!
