Latte is a less dense type of coffee from the Italian word "latte" meaning milk, and cappuccino is a drink of espresso with hot frothed milk that's been flavoured.
Latte, containing more foam than a standard espresso or coffee contains, is just a small espresso with a very small amount of steamed foamed milk. Cappuccinos have more froth and are served in smaller cups to enable just one hand to pick it up. Cappuccinos often times also contain cocoa powder for flavor too.
